The idea of going into the Safari Zone hadn't interested Sailor before they saw a bulletin posted by another grunt, claiming that there were some ghost and dark types spawning at the moment.[break][break]
That was how to catch Sailor's attention. They (reluctantly) paid the fee and entered with four balls. Four chances to catch something worthwhile. Obstagoon had been the only Pokémon that Sai brought with them, and he seemed less than impressed to be traipsing alongside his trainer.[break][break]
"If it goes well, I'll treat you to a cream puff later." Sailor promised, which perked Obstagoon up. His trainer didn't often offer treats to their Pokémon...

Sailor was pleased to see that the first Pokémon who appeared was one that they had hoped to encounter. Now, how did this go? Were they supposed to just treat this like a regular wild Pokémon?[break][break]
"In that case... Obstagoon, use Cross Chop to make it easier to catch." Obstagoon obliged, keen to earn the promised Cream Puff. The Yamask didn't stand much of a chance and Sailor tossed one of the Safari Balls.[break][break]
Obstagoon came back to their side and they nodded, "Let's move on and see what we can find next."

The Galarian Yamask was caught and Sailor was pleased to see a Nickit wander their way next.[break][break]

They gestured towards the wild Pokémon, "Obstagoon, use Take Down, don't let it get away." This Safari trip would, hopefully, help Sailor pad out their options a bit more.[break][break]

While they were picky when it came to typing, they knew they needed a variety of Pokémon to help with any number of situations. They watched as Obstagoon attacked the Nickit, who used Snarl and then Night Slash in retaliation.[break][break]

"Good. This one has some fight in it. Obstagoon, Cross Chop." The second attack seemed enough to overpower the Nickit, who had tried its best to avoid Obstagoon's advance. Sailor nodded and tossed out a ball.

Another successful capture and then a Mimikyu appeared. Sai liked the luck they were having at the Safari Zone so far...[break][break]

They nodded at Obstagoon who, by now, knew what to do. The Mimikyu hadn't expected a fight, judging from how it reacted when Obstagoon charged it. Sailor hoped this didn't mean it was weak.[break][break]

Once Obstagoon had taken care of the Mimikyu, Sailor used one of their remaining Safari Balls to capture it.[break][break]

This left just one now, but luckily they only had one more Pokémon they wanted to find.

As Sailor picked up the Safari Ball, he noticed something else wander onto their path and couldn't help but smile -- a Seedot! The final Pokémon they would have wanted from this Safari Zone jaunt.[break][break]

"Obstagoon, make your new friend feel welcome. Take down." Their Pokémon was only all too happy to make this happen, charging at the small grass type and avoiding the headbutt it tried to retaliate with.[break][break]

It didn't seem to have too much experience with battling, and Obstagoon found it easy to overpower.[break][break]

But Sai saw potential, knowing that they didn't care for their first stage evolution and they tossed out a safari ball. At least for now, their work here was done.
